*πŸ‘‰VERSE:* _”JUDGE not, that ye be not judged.”_(Matthew 7:1)

Our memory verse for the day has been made controversial by careless people of this world, who hate to be corrected. They see the truth to be so bitter like an unfavorable judgement. It’s not a surprise that the world hates righteousness but love to be content with evil.

The Word of God is telling us to correct ourselves, mind our utterances and focus more on how to keep our lives with diligence. All Christians are to live on the mercies of God without condemning or judging those who go wrong. Leave judgement to God; it is not our business to judge others. Those in the habit of judging people from a wrong perspective, are going to be judged in the same manner (Proverbs 11:1).

*PRAYER* Oh Jesus, kindly accept my prayer of forgiveness for the times I have judged others wrongly. *AMEN*

*πŸ‘‰VERSE:* _In a moment, in the twinkle of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed*””_(1Corinthians 16:52)

Christians are to be spiritually prepared for what lies ahead of us. Although we live in the flesh, we are not called to live for the world. People occupy themselves with what it takes to enjoy a successful marriage. They would like to make advance inquiries and preparations needed to experience a happy marriage.

In Matthew 25:1-13, Jesus Christ made use of the Parable of the Ten Virgins to send us his warning about His second coming, and what needs to be done by His saints. The parable has it that, 5 out of the 10 virgins were actually prepared to meet the bridegroom. The same parable is currently unfolding in real life; for not all people are preparing for the  Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Cares of this world have resulted in the spiritual death or backwardness of so many Christians. For these people, acts of worship in Christianity has become routine exercises. This is the time to seek the Lord and do all that it takes to finally inherit the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 25:10-12).

However, those who are captured by Satan will have nowhere to spend eternal life but to spend eternal destruction in the lake of fire. He is stealthily keeping many Christians away from their preparation towards rapture (John 10:10, 2Timothy 3:1-5). Are you preparing for rapture or to be captured by Satan?

*PRAYER* Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary which is pure and holy in Jesus name. *AMEN*

πŸ‘‰MEMORY VERSE: _”And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come”_(Luke 19:13)

Naturally, humankind doesn’t appreciate what he owns. The people of Israel needed liberation from the hands of the tyrannical Egyptian Pharaoh. After the Lord had granted them this deliverance, they didn’t appreciate the saving power of God, and the freedom they obtained from slavery. Due to insubordination, only two of them were able to finally arrive in the Promised Land with the younger generation.

Thus has not seized in our generation at all. By the grace and mercy of God, God saved us from the shackles of sin and provided emancipation from the oppression against our souls. It is time for us to worship God according to His high preferential order of holiness but we are not doing our best to make His grace useful. Satan has succeeded in pulling down many churches who began well. They couldn’t occupy until the coming of Christ and that is eternally punishable.

To call yourself a Christian, one will have to work out his or her salvation diligently for God’s reward. How pitiful it is in our generation! As Most Churches cannot preach, promote, practice and encourage holiness because they have unraveled the difficulty involved in standing firm for the Lord unto the end. With faith and truth, we can prove an incredible point to God.

Christianity is like running with a spoon with egg on it. The more you run, the more it becomes dangerous for you to stay cautious in order not to crack the egg. Faith in God has to be preserved like the precious egg. If we carry the egg of faith like a spoon, no matter how people lose their eggs it shouldn’t be so in our case. Truth is the only weapon which can command freedom (John 8:32). One who has the Truth, needs to obviously be strong in the faith he is to die for. The work we are called to do, is to present our faith in God to the world.

Jesus Christ occupied Himself with the will of God until He finished on the Cross of Calvary (Romans 13:11-14). We have the opportunity to serve God in His holiness. Let the time and space in our disposal be delicately held with much priority. The enthusiasm with which we are to approach our spiritual responsibilities as Christians, must not depreciate or fade out. This will intend our daily engagement with acts of worship either than worrying ourselves with worldly things. Martha occupied herself with the unnecessary burden but Mary knew with conviction that being with Jesus Christ, was the right and most important thing to be done (Luke 10:38-42).

Ascribe no reason for your inability to labour for the Lord, occupy yourself with Church activities, preach the Gospel and stand for the truth in holiness until the day of accountability (Philippians 1:5-6, Matthew 10:34-39, Philippians 2:12-16, Colossians 3:23-24).

*PRAYER*:Dear Spirit of God, assist me to render clean account unto my Lord Jesus Christ. *AMEN*

*”And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”*.

_John 1:5KJV_

Life, in all its energies, past, present, and future, is an outcome, an effluence, of the Eternal Word. *”The life” which was in Christ “was,” has always been, is now, will ever be, “the light of men.”* This light is the veritable light which lights every man, and it penetrates and shines in the rayless darkness. All that in men which is true lightβ€”knowledge, integrity, intelligent, willing subjection to God, love to Him and to their fellow creatures, wisdom, purity, holy joy, rational happinessβ€”all this “light of men” has its fountain in the essential original “life” of “the Word”.

When man became a living soul, his life was light and his capacities such as distinguished him from, and dignified him above the beasts that perish was enlightened. The spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord, and it was the eternal Word that lighted this candle. If the light is truly in you, then, darkness can’t dwell in you. The works of the flesh can’t be manifested in the soul whose heart is filled with Christ who is the Light.

If you are the light of the world, then why is your light not glistening? Irrespective of the time of the night,  it can’t hinder the sun from shining; darkness always gives way for the day. _It conceals sin but light convicts it_.

*PRAYER:* Shine in me oh the light of my Life and help me to live in the light forever in your name Christ Jesus I pray.

*”All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made”*.

_John 1:3KJV_

The most recurring word during the time of creation was… _”And God said”_, that’s the WORD. God created the world by the Word and that Word is Christ, the fountain of all excellency: _’By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth’_ (Psalm 33:6). So in the beginning was Christ, He was with God, and He was God. Christ Jesus is the founder and author of the world;  everything was made by Him. Creation means causing that to exist that had no previous being.

Absolutely, there is nothing that exists that wasn’t made by Him. If he hadn’t made me,  I wouldn’t have ever lived on this earth. Factually speaking, we all owe our lives to Him, for He is our life.

Dolefully, many souls are living without Him, neglecting the fact that without Him was not anything made that was made. When we worship Christ, we worship him to whom the patriarchs gave honour as the Creator of the world, and on whom all creatures depend. This shows how well qualified he was for the work of our redemption and salvation. *He is our Savior because He is our creator; If He can’t create, then He can’t save*.

_”Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”_(2Cor. 5:17)

_Seek the Word that founded the world and not the things of the world._

*PRAYER:* Lord Jesus, thank you for  creating me anew in you through your saving grace. Help me not to do anything in my life without you in your name I pray.

*”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”*.

_John 1:1KJV_

The nascence of all things is CHRIST, He is the Word. Note the words _”In the beginning”_, thus, in the alpha, incipient and origin of the world was the Word. The deity and divinity of Christ is inarguably and doubtlessly expressed vividly in this verse, nothing but the Word. *In the beginning was the Word, not the world; the Word and not the world was with God*.

The Genesis and birth of our Lives is the Word, not the world. We came as strangers through the Word into this world, therefore, our Lives should start with the Word. It’s very unfortunate that many people started their lives with the world and spent all their precious times with the things of it, being very unconcerned about the Word. They don’t show any interest in it and therefore make no attempt to even read it; their heart and love resides with the world and not the word. Sorrowfully, many souls are in hell because they sided with the world, neglecting the fact that the world was not with God but the Word was and will perdue with God; for the Word is God.

Interestingly, When you begin your day and life with the Word, you begin with God himself, he directs your will to His and leads you in the right path. *The purpose of our lives is enshrouded in the Moral will of God, which is the Word*. Let’s come to ourselves and start reminiscing the Word for the unveiling of our purpose on this earth; ignoring it will be to detriment of our own souls.

_Remember, that they that begin and end their lives with the Word while in the World shall surely be with God in the world to come!._

*PRAYER:*  Glorious father, thank you for your saving words. I pray for your grace to begin with your words today and be with you in Jesus name I pray.

*πŸ‘‰VERSE:* _*”Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding”_(Proverbs 3:5)

Trusting God is the act of depending on Him in and out of season, for every thing which a believer will need before fulfilling  God’s purpose for a reward. *It is an insurance package which calls Christians to godliness after the difficult part of life is left to God’s intervention. Power comes from the receiver of trust. We don’t trust with the aim of receiving bad results.*

When we plant our hearts into God’s Word, our understanding is absorbed by it and exchanged for that of God. *A heart without doubt is exactly the one that God can deposit or load with the goodies in His treasury, reserved for all His servants of holiness.* If we trust God, we will never be obsessed with despair and unbelief. Worldly trust is not absolute. *It always has shortage of commitment due to slight unbelief which is expressly known as “carefulness in watchful reliance”*  That is not in the case of one who trusts in God with all His heart. People who trust in the Lord with all their hearts, understand His mandate for them, and they have no worries. People who don’t trust in God, worry themselves for nothing.

God made us to trust in Him and have His understanding because our understanding will not be able to decode the purpose for which we exist. *Problems confronting us are not greater than the weight of our trust in God.*He will never let us down because He’s more than enough for us.

*PRAYER*Lord Jesus, help me to be deeply rooted in your trust. *AMEN*
