Sunday 3rd May, 2020 *Memory verse* “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”. 2 Cotronthains 5:21 (kjv)

God is perfect. He does not sin. He is the opposite of sin. Jesus is God, but was sent to earth as a man to know sin. By knowing sin, He can better understand and communicate the message of God to humanity. Do not be confused about this passage: Christ is not a sinner. He is a sacrificial offering to sin sent to earth by God, His father so that our sins could be forgiven. Thanks be to God.

*PRAYER:* Perfect and almighty Lord, my strength and guardian, I am a sinner. Forgive me Father, for I have sinned, and knowing that You sent Your only son to earth to die for my sins makes this admission more shameful. O Lord, please hear my prayer! I beg that You give me a chance to improve and pledge my faith to You, so that I may spread Your glory to others. There is only one path for me Abba Father, and that path leads to heaven, so that I may rejoice with You and Christ. I pray this in the name of Christ, Amen.

* *🗣Memory verse*:”Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?” Matthew 7:1-3 (NLT)

It is so easy to judge someone else isn’t it? If I am not careful, I will become a judge and jury over someone else’s behaviour and not even notice that I have committed the greater sin. Jesus had a lot to say about this behaviour. He says to get rid of the log in our own eye first, then go after someone else’s speck!
The Bible says, ‘There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you to judge your neighbour? In this we become like the Devil himself. Let’s repent of any judging we may be doing. When things irritate us or when we are tempted to judge someone else, let’s pray for them. Let’s ask God for discernment so we will know what we can do instead of judging.
*PRAYER:* Dear God, I am so guilty of judging others. I have been forgiven so much by You and yet I confess that I so quickly forget Your mercy and show no grace to someone else. I judge with my thoughts and actions, Please forgive me. Help me today, not to judge, but to choose the better way, the way of love and forgiveness,Amen.

The reason why we can stand tall in any situation is because of the Solid Rock (God) beneath us. The Great Rock is dependable and reliable, we call Him – unshakable and unmovable. The champion of the whole universe. 1 Samuel 2:2 says, There is no one holy like the Lord. There is no one besides You! And there is no rock like our God. Why do you have to fear the enemy who is under the feet of this Great Rock? Moses had the backing of God that was why he was not afraid of Pharaoh. When you have an understanding of who God is, your confidence level is boosted. David, a young boy was not afraid to confront a giant when warriors were running away from Goliath. Delight yourself in the Lord, get to know Him and every doubt about your life, situation and future will be erased.
*PRAYER:* Thank you Lord, for being my Rock in all seasons. There is none like You, you are God all by Yourself in Jesus name,Amen.
